I actually hate everything. But I never INTENDED to hate everything, and when I was young I was eternally optimistic and always considered myself the kind of person that gave everybody a fair chance. Then puberty began ravaging my pink chemistry putrid, and the first few chisel-hits were made at my faith in humanity. Heftier whacks were made when I began working retail. (Art supply/framing stores, and bookstores, not that the type of retail establishment makes much difference. Incidentally, I personally believe all Americans should be REQUIRED to work in retail and/or customer service for a minimum of 6 months as a part of their general schooling. I wholeheartedly believe this.)
Anyway, I'm still mostly the same person I was when I was 9. I still believed people are essentially good. I still like to think I give everybody a fair chance. The only difference now is I have next to no expectations anymore.
But I hope you and I will become great friends.
